Sustainable and Ethical Clothing

When brands are choosing to manufacture sustainable and ethical clothing they are making a conscious effort to lessen the negative impact the fashion industry has on our planet, animals, and people. By supporting these brands, we as a consumer, are supporting the movement towards ecofriendly and socially conscious society.

The use of plant based fibers (organic cotton, linen, hemp) and/or semi-synthetic fibers (bamboo, tencel). These fibers have low environmental impact as they require less water and energy, contain no GMO's, do not contribute to soil erosion, are biodegradable, and come from a renewable resource.

They are using ecofriendly dyes that are often plant based, non-toxic, and require less water.

Lowering their carbon footprint by manufacturing clothing in their base country, rather than overseas.

They insure individuals are paid a fair wage and are working in safe and healthy conditions.

No forced or child labour

They are transparent with their consumers.
